Theory of Photoinduced Quantum Dynamics in NanostructuresAll of the compounds in nature consist of a huge number of atoms and/or molecules. Nanometer-sized molecules, which are constructed from several tens to several hundreds of atoms, have characteristic geometrical and electronic structures, and unprecedented functions. Despite scientific interest in and technological importance of the nanometer-sized molecules, the fundamental properties of the molecules have not been well elucidated. We are currently investigating the photoinduced quantum (electron, spin, exciton) dynamics in various types of nanometer-sized molecules. |
