The ac and dc susceptibility data of the identical sample of (kappa)-(BEDT-TTF)2Cu[N(CN)2]Cl that we have used for the previous low-temperature specific heat experiment [Phys. Rev. B 53, R8875 (1996)] is presented. As we have shown in Figures 1, 2, we observe neither appreciable depression of the magnetic transition temperature nor appearance of superconductive phase due to the grease effect in our experimental configuration, which excludes the interpretation that the absence of the (gamma) term in our specific heat data in zero magnetic field is due to the pressure induced superconductivity.
