OIIB (Okazaki Research Facilities)


The main purpose of the Okazaki Institute for Integrative Bioscience (OIIB) is to conduct interdisciplinary research in the molecular sciences, basic biological sciences, and physiological sciences. The OIIB employs cutting edge methodologies from the physical and chemical disciplines to foster new trends in bioscience research. The OIIB is a center shared by and that benefits from all three of the institutes in Okazaki. Three full professors and one associate professor, all of whom are members of IMS, staff the OIIB.
