Project Title: Materials Characterization Using Newly Exploited Spectroscopic Techniques
Professor: Toshihiko YOKOYAMA
http://msmd.ims.ac.jp/yokoyama_g/index_e.html

Details of the project:

1) Characterization of fuel cells under working conditions using ambient-pressure hard x-ray photoelectron spectroscopy at SPring-8
2) Methane activation reactions on metal oxides on single crystal surfaces studied by ambient-pressure soft x-ray photoelectron spectroscopy at SPring-8
3) Thermal properties of alloys studied by extended x-ray absorption fine structure
4) Characterization of magnetic thin films by x-ray magnetic circular dichroism using UVSOR
