Details of the project:

Learning cutting-edge techniques of single-molecule vibration spectroscopy by means of tip-enhanced optical spectroscopy. In the internship, the participants can learn our state-of-the-art instrument that combines scanning tunneling/atomic force microscopy with an ultrabroadband pulsed laser, and will work on experiments of ultrasensitive vibrational spectroscopy of single organic/biological molecules.

Required skills:

Basics of vibrational spectroscopy, experience of scanning tunneling microscopy or atomic force microscopy, programming skills.
