Requirements for doctor degree

Five years or more excluding the period of registered absence.
Contraction is possible through special evaluation.
(1) Must complete at least 42 credits from the Special Subjects of the Departments of Structural Molecular Science and Functional Molecular Science, the Common Specialized Basic Subjects of the School of Physical Sciences and the subjects of the Interdepartmental Program.
(2) The total credits as specified in (1) must include 2 credits from "Freshman Course" in the Interdepartmental Program.
(3) The total credits as specified in (1) may include up to 4 credits from the Special Subjects of the Departments of Astronomical Science, Fusion Science, Space and Astronomical Science, Basic Biology and Physiological Sciences.

* 1 or more publications in international journals to which the applicant has mainly contributed
The paper must be published or accepted before the beginning of the application (Early January, late March, late June, late September).
* Preliminary evaluation
* Evaluation and defense examination for your thesis
* Public presentation for your thesis
