Enrich your scientific activity by mixing with researchers from various fields
To achieve excellence in research, it is essential to incorporate knowledge from multiple disciplines. The “Life Science Retreat” gives us a good opportunity to mix with researchers from various fields. This retreat is organized by School of Life Science and School of Advanced Studies of SOKENDAI and all students and faculty members of SOKENDAI may participate in this retreat. Students and faculty members who are doing research in Okazaki, Mishima, and Hayama, mix together in the Retreat and actively discuss ongoing research. This year, we are adding an “Integrative Bioscience Education Program” to invite researchers from other fields to join the retreat to promote integrative views of biological processes. We can support travel/accomodation to participate in the Retreat. Please join us if you are interested in the life sciences! Students and faculty from any SOKENDAI department can participate the Life Science Retreat.
You may hit upon new research ideas by mixing with researchers from various disciplines. The Integrative Bioscience Education Program will promote the process by which researchers obtain research grants from new ideas. If you have a good idea by mixing with students from other fields in this Retreat, please consider a research plan and write a research proposal to test your idea.
We can read and edit your proposal and will provide funding for excellent and challenging proposals.
It is essential to have attractive new ideas to survive as a research scientist. Please consider novel ideas !!
Details about “grant proposal for students” will be announced in the HP of the Integrative Bioscience Education Program.
