Prof. Cathleen Crudden, former president of the Canadian Society for Chemistry, made a courtesy call on Director General Maki Kawai and gave a lecture at the IMS Colloquium on January 18th. The title of the lecture was "Catalysis in the production of molecules and materials." Prof. Crudden visited the Research Center for Computational Science and the UVSOR Synchrotron Facility of IMS.
