Mr. Eiken Nakamura has been awarded the Commendation for Science and Technology by the Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (Outstanding Support for Research Award)

Mr. Eiken Nakamura, Chief Engineer in Technical and Engineering Department has been awarded the Commendation for Science and Technology by the Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (Outstanding Support for Research Award) for "Development of an L-shaped slit for synchrotron radiation and its contribution to a design for beamlines with insertion light sources." This award is given to persons who made outstanding achievements in research and development in science and technology in order to raise the level of science and technology in Japan.
