Summary	Professor B.C.Ranu is one of the leaders in the field of synthetic organic chemistry in India. He has made considerable achievements in homogeneous and heterogeneous catalyst chemistry. We have a good opportunity to invite Professor Ranu to IMS and open his seminar on the occasion of his stay in Japan invited by the INSA-JSPS Exchange Program.
