概 要 |
In the last years there has been significant interest in cascaded self-frequency conversion lasing effects in doped (by Ln and TM ions) and un-doped insulating inorganic and organic crystals. Among these laser and nonlinear-laser phenomena are different two- and many-stage cascaded processes: direct- and cross-cascaded lasing transitions between Stark levels of few 2S+1LJ-manifolds in one or several Ln3+ lasants, self-frequency doubling, self-SRS generation, etc. These effects have the possibility of creating a new generation of solid-state laser sources, which can operate at specific and otherwise hard to reach wavelengths over a wide spectral range. In this lecture I want to show also recent results on many-stage X(3) <-> X(2) cascaded generation in many un-doped and Ln3+-doped non-centrosymmetric crystals with different structure (e.g.:BBO, Y(COO)3.2H2O, Li2SO4.H2O, NaClO3, AANP, β-LaBGeO5:Nd3+, etc). These X(3) and X(2) nonlinear phenomena can also help in the developments of new operating laser schemes and type of lasers with the aim to obtain unusual generation regimes. |
