この度、光電子分光法に関する教科書の執筆者として、また、各種同時計測法の開発とそれを用いた原子分子の光電離過程の研究で著名なOxford大学のEland先生が来 所されます。この機会に、下記の内容でご講演頂くことになりました。 Double photoionisation of neutral molecules can happen by a direct process, with two main theoretical components, or by several indirect processes. The classical Auger effect by inner shells is best known, but we can also recognise a high Rydberg Auger process and an inner-valence Auger process, which becomes very important in large molecules. In addition there is a process involving dissociation followed by atomic autoionisation from low Rydberg states of a fragment. A new process of similar dissociative nature has very recently been noticed; its experimental manifestations are clear, but its interpretation is open to disscussion and is in need of theoretical input. |
