概 要

Triple Photon Generation (TPG) corresponds to the simultaneous birth of three highly correlated photons created from the annihilation of a photon at higher energy in a third order nonlinear material. It is the most direct way to produce pure 3 photons quantum states, instead of using two entangled pairs as initially proposed in the framework of Greenberger-Horne-Zeilinger quantum states of light. In 2004, we made the pioneer experiment of TPG in a KTP crystal, the third order process being stimulated by seeding with two incident fields. Our current studies deal with calculations and experiments aiming at giving prominence of quantum correlations of triple photons. Our protocoles are based on the study of the recombination-born field arising from the recombination of the photons of the triples in a nonlinear crystal through sum-frequency generation.
