概 要 |
In the last decade, Tetrathiafulvalene derivatives have been associated to d metal ions to elaborate multifunctional materials which possess magnetic and electrical properties. The 4f lanthanides exhibit exiting specific luminescent properties. New TTF-based ligands suitable for the coordination of lanthanide ions and first “π-f” system have been obtained and studied in our group.[1-3] One of these ligands is the tetrathiafulvalene-amido-2-pyridine-N-oxide donor (TTF-CONH-2-Py-N-oxide) which lead to three different structural families. In particular, the absorption spectroscopy of the [Y(hfac)3(TTF-CONH-2-Py-N-oxide)2] complex has been experimentally and theoretically studied. The irradiation at low-energy (19600 cm-1) in the HOMO → LUMO+1/+2 charge transfers of the [Yb(hfac)3(TTF-CONH-2-Py-N-oxide)2] compound provokes the fluorescence (13150 cm-1) of the donor and the luminescence of the Yb(III) ion (centered to 9860 cm-1). We have shown that the donor is an efficient charge transfer antenna for the sensitization of Yb(III) luminescence.[4] |
