概 要 | Amidines are known to form salt bridges with carboxylic acids through charge-assisted hydrogen bonds, which are strong interactions even in polar solvents such as water and DMSO. Considering the above characteristics as well as the synthetically facile accessibility, polyamidines have great potential as the recognition motif for constructing novel supramolecular materials. We have successfully designed and synthesized soft materials using polyamidines bearing N,N'-di-substituted amidine group in the main chain such as supramolecular polymer gels and CO2 absorbents. |
