Professor in the Department of Materials Molecular ScienceProfessor (one position)
Development of materials and/or material systems toward novel properties and functions. Participation in managements of IMS which is an inter-university research institute*. Teaching and supervising graduate students as a professor of SOKENDAI (The Graduate University for Advanced Studies).

On or at the earliest possible date after June 1st, 2023
(1) The successful candidate will be supported with lab space and start-up budget funded by the director general of IMS.
(2) The successful candidate is expected to serve as a principal investigator of a research group, which consists of one professor (this recruit), one assistant professor (to be recruited), and one secretary (shared).

Candidates will be selected under the advice of a personnel committee of the IMS. IMS may withhold selection if there is no suitable person for the position.
