1. Position Title:
Senior Researcher

2. Research Field:
Beamline science at the UVSOR Synchrotron Facility, aiming at the development and upgrade of new methods using highly brilliant synchrotron radiation (SR), according to the international direction of electronic structure analysis. Planning future developments ranging for 10-20 years in the UVSOR under supervision of its director is also included. The candidate possesses, if possible, experiences in SR technologies such as X-ray optics and electron optics. In addition, this senior researcher is in charge of the maintenance and management of some UVSOR beamlines and the technical support of their local and foreign users.

3. Terms:Tenured until the retirement age of 65.

5. Starting date: As early as possible.

7. Selection process:
Candidates will be selected by a personnel committee of the Institute for Molecular Science.
The committee may withhold selection if there is no suitable person for the position.

8. Compensation:
In accordance with the NINS employee compensation regulation. The annual salary system will be applied.
